Episode 1 – The Fire and the Silence
Tehran, January 1979. Amidst the chaos of revolution, a piano maker named Yosef rescues a young girl, Eliza, from a burning brothel in Qala. Her mother dies in the fire, leaving behind only silence and mystery. As protests swell through the streets, Yosef struggles with guilt and grief, while his friend Hamed is consumed by revolutionary fervor. When violence erupts, Yosef is forced into a confrontation that will mark him forever. The fire becomes not only the night that saved Eliza’s life—but also the secret that will define it.

Episode 2 – Asylum
Yosef and Eliza find shelter in the household of Agha Sadegh, a wise man who offers stability amidst the storm of political change. Eliza grows under Yosef’s care, her future uncertain yet full of promise. Mahtab, a strong and compassionate nurse, enters their lives, creating a fragile spark of hope. Meanwhile, Hamed’s revolutionary path collides with Yosef’s cautious silence, and their friendship begins to break. Outside their doors, the new regime tightens control, forcing Yosef to weigh loyalty against survival.

Episode 3 – The Polish Lane
The family moves into their own modest apartment, seeking independence. But the past follows them: an older woman appears at their door, stirring memories of Eliza’s mother and leaving Yosef unsettled. Yosef dreams of the woman in the brothel, clutching Eliza’s necklace, unable to let go. Eliza, now older, senses her father’s silence hides painful truths. The streets outside rumble with unrest, but inside their home, questions grow louder. Secrets begin to surface, though Yosef refuses to answer.

Episode 4 – Torn Loyalties
The revolution devours its own. Political suspicion grows, and Yosef’s family becomes caught in the crossfire of loyalty and betrayal. Mahtab, torn between duty, family, and love, is forced to separate from Yosef, leaving behind bitterness and wounds. Surveillance increases, and Yosef’s world tightens around him. Eliza witnesses the fracture of trust and stability, realizing her childhood is built on fragile ground. The turbulence of the new order shatters bonds that once seemed unbreakable.

Episode 5 – Splintered Truths
Now a young woman, Eliza begins her search for her mother’s identity. Driven by fragments of dreams and whispers of memory, she pushes Yosef for answers. When silence fails her, she takes her first bold step: visiting the Polish Embassy. There, she makes fragile contact that suggests her origins are not lost but hidden. For the first time, she begins to glimpse the outline of her past. Yosef, terrified of the consequences, tries to shield her—but Eliza refuses to stop.

Episode 6 – Confessions
The Polish Embassy confirms what Yosef has long feared: Eliza’s mother was not forgotten. Identity takes shape in fragments of documents and testimony. Eliza meets Pastor Piotr, who guides her to her mother’s grave, deepening her sense of loss and belonging at once. Yosef, torn between protecting her and confessing, drifts into dreams where the past and present merge. Both father and daughter inch closer to truth, even as the weight of revelation threatens to divide them.

Episode 7 – The Reunion
In Warsaw, a fragile calm begins to form. Yosef focuses on recovery and small moments of peace, while Eliza shoulders new responsibilities and keeps searching for answers. Boris and Jadwiga stand by them, offering quiet support. But the appearance of an older woman from the past reopens wounds Yosef had buried deep. As Eliza confronts her father with painful questions, darkness intrudes. A racist mob attack erupts, and Yosef is left gravely injured. Father and daughter’s world shatters once again.

Episode 8 – Forgiveness
Yosef lies in a Warsaw hospital, clinging to life. Slowly, through painful rehabilitation, he begins to heal. Eliza matures into protector, caring for the father who once shielded her. The trial against their attackers becomes a symbol of resistance, drawing global attention. In the quiet of the hospital, Yosef dreams of forgiveness, while Eliza learns that truth is not only inherited—it must be lived. Mahtab reappears, carrying the weight of love and separation. In the end, father and daughter find not perfection, but peace.
